Margaret and Tony have been bringing their music to audiences for over 25 years. Together they perform an eclectic mix including contemporary 'American ' influenced Folk, Country, Gospel music and original material. Their performances often feature the following: a cappella, instrumentals, cliff stops and Appellation Americana, ‘old time' foot stomping music all delivered in their own unique style.
Many of Margaret's songs she writes are about the industrial and social history of Teesside or the landscape of hills and open moorland that surround the area. 'I'm Leaving the Town' was runner up at the Festival on the Moor song writing competition in 2015 and their album 'Farewell to Thee' features five of Margaret's own distinctive compositions set against a background of American Folk-influenced music.
Thier album 'Farewell to Thee' contains the following: warfare, farewell to Thee ( origional by M Maughan),Love at the Five & Dime (K Matea),South Bank Lullaby (origional by M Maughan), Wayfaring Stranger (Trad), Child of Grace (Origional by M Maughan), River Shanty (Origional by M Maughan), I'm Going to make Heaven my Home (Flatt & Scruggs), My Eldorado (Graeme Miles), Cleveland Hills (Origional by M Maughan).
